I hope you're doing great! This year, all of us on the Cocoa High School Football team are working hard to make our season and Liftathon unforgettable, and I need your help. Each of us was asked to set up a personal fundraising page to share with friends and family, and I hope you don’t mind that I'm reaching out to you!

My goal is to raise at least $500 to help cover our season expenses, which will hopefully offset some of the costs we’ll incur as the season progresses. Rest assured, all the funds raised will go directly to support our team, and I’ll get credit toward my personal goal. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a big difference. I’ll keep you updated on our progress and can’t wait to share all the highlights from our season with you.

A Message from Coach Hooks ...

I am extremely proud to represent our community, alumni, faculty, administration, and thousands of fans, as the Head Football Coach at Cocoa High School.

Cocoa is one of Florida’s most respected football programs—7 State Championships, two 3-peats, 19 consecutive State Semifinal appearances, and the only school in state history to produce back-to-back Mr. Florida Player of the Year winners.

But there’s a side that many people don’t know.

Cocoa High is a Title I school that faces financial challenges. Our football program is in urgent need of critical upgrades and essential equipment. Many of our families have difficult financial circumstances and simply cannot afford to contribute or “pay to play.”

Our players are going without basic necessities, and urgently need:
• Locker room upgrades (our current lockers are old and broken)
• Shoulder pads (many are over 10 years old)
• New uniforms (the same ones have been worn for 10 seasons)
• Knee pads, mouthpieces, and compression gear

When a young man walks into a quality locker room, puts on safe, properly fitted equipment, and wears a uniform he’s proud of—his confidence grows. His self-belief rises. That’s Tiger Pride.
