At East Georgia State College, our goal every year is to run a first-class women's basketball program. To do that, we need your help. Our funding from the school gives us a good start but does not cover everything we need to make our players' season a truly memorable one. This fundraiser will help us to offset the cost of our upcoming season including miscellaneous team expenses during the season.
We want to give our student-athletes the best opportunity to succeed and create as many new memories as possible. The Bobcats basketball program is asking for your assistance to help make this possible. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and a tax-deductible receipt will be issued for your support.
A Message from Head Coach Theo Howard...
Because of supporters like you, we were able to win the 2024 GCAA Women’s Basketball State Championship and travel to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in Casper, Wyoming for the first time in school history. However, it wasn’t cheap. Resources and funds generated annually through fundraisers go directly to enhance and support the school’s athletic programs and over 200 student-athletes. There is a pressing need to generate revenue to fund operations. The self-funding mission and model of EGSC Athletics relies on no allocation of student tuition or state allocations. Therefore, private support is a critical component to providing a comprehensive, first-class experience. These investments are key ingredients to maintaining what has evolved into one of the NJCAA Division I and the GCAA Conference's most respected programs.
We enter the 2024-2025 academic year seeking to enhance our program. To date, the EGSC Bobcat athletics teams have won and competed in state championships, earned national rankings, expanded to add junior varsity teams (giving even more student-athletes the opportunity to compete on the collegiate level), and volunteered countless hours of community service. We are an institution that focuses on growth and development!

The goals we hope to accomplish as players, coaches, and a program takes vision, commitment, and resources. An important part of our program's funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity within the Bobcats community. This supporting cast is a critical part of the success of our program. This fundraiser will help us pay for the budgeted expenses for the upcoming year including equipment and travel costs for the program. Along with my staff, I would like to personally thank everyone for supporting our program and invite each of you to a game this year.
2024-25 is guaranteed to be an exciting season as we continue building a Standard of Excellence.
