The goal at River City Rowing Club is to provide rowers with a first-class experience every year. We need your help in order to accomplish this goal.  As a community club, we don’t receive any funds from our schools.  We are completely self-funded. The funds raised with this online donations fundraiser will go directly to paying our coaches and absolute necessities for our season.

The River City Rowing Club is asking for your assistance to help make this possible. Any donation is greatly appreciated and a tax-deductible receipt will be issued for your support.

A message from Junior Team Coaching Staff...

As a team, we have a great passion for what we do and we are surrounded by great people within the RCRC Family. The River City Rowing Club has a proud tradition of success for our student-rowers.  We provide  girls and boys who love the sport an avenue to compete at the high school level and have been quite successful on the water while doing so.

The goals we hope to accomplish as rowers, coaches, and a program takes vision, commitment, and resources. This endeavor takes the efforts of everyone involved, and the resources needed are many.

RCRC is working to pay our bills, keep our dues as affordable as possible and get as many kids rowing as possible. Our program’s funding comes from the rowers’ dues and fundraising.  The support and generosity of our supporting community is critical to our success. The funds raised by this fundraiser will be used to help offset the cost of coaching wages, which is more than 1/2 of our total cost.  Our coaches are our most valuable assets, helping to lead us in every way.  It also covers many other necessary expenses such as RCRC Club membership, US Rowing (USRA) membership, insurance – rowing shells, oars, coaching launches, trailer, and club facilities, maintenance, and repair of equipment, racing entry fees to all regattas, including Southwest Junior Regional Championships and U.S. Junior National Championships, if applicable, breakfast, lunch, and snacks at all regattas, and trailering fees to regattas. I would like to personally thank everyone for supporting our program and invite each of you to a regatta this year.
